I had a client recently who asked about her job and the impact that filing bankruptcy would have on that  job.  Illinois and Wisconsin Bankruptcy Attorney David Leibowitz has opined in a recent blog post about this very issue:

I agree with David and think that it is very important that a person seek advice on this issue from an employment law attorney and a bankruptcy attorney.  Kentucky is an “at will” employment state and this can also have an effect on a persons employment status.
