Recession Imperils Loan Forgiveness Programs

 
The New York Times reports on how several states, including Kentucky, have reneged on thier offer to forgive student loans made to school teachers:

In my opinion, this move by Student Loan programs nationwide will continue to put pressure on Congress to change the bankruptcy laws to allow discharge of student loan debt.
