Things That Debt Collectors May Not Do

You may have options of pursing legal action against creditors if they violate the provisions of the federal Fair Debt Collection Practice Act or similar state laws.  If you do, be sure and discuss your options with an attorney experienced in such matters.  Some bankruptcy attorneys handle this type of litigation and some don’t.
