My late mother used shopping as a hobby. If she were still alive, I wonder if she would be looking for something else to occupy her time.
It seems many Americans are.
A New York Times article said Americans are more involved in civic and religious activities. They also spend more time cooking.
They don’t need a credit card to have a good time.”
