While facilitating a leadership session yesterday in Lubbock, TX for UMC Health Systems, numerous individuals shared their own personal stories of tragedy to triumph. Losses with family, difficulties financially, near-death experiences, broken marriages, painful childhoods….and then they shared how because of those things they are even better people today.
My friends, either everything in life is a gift…or it’s not. Choose today to see the traffic, the difficult coworker, the adverse situation at home, the challenge with your heath as gifts. When you do, not only are you free to begin rising above it, but your eyes are open to rediscover the innumerable others gifts in your life.
